Tokens are the basic units of text that AI models use to process and generate language. In simple terms, a token can be as short as one character or as long as one word. For example, the sentence "I love cats" might be broken down into three tokens: "I," "love," and "cats." Each token helps the model understand and generate text based on patterns it has learned from data.
Token can refer to various things in different contexts, but generally, it signifies a unit of value, representation, or identity in a system. In the context of digital currencies or blockchain, a token is often a digital asset representing ownership or access rights to something.
